Well tbh the 100mph part was a guess, but it looked about that quick, and surely the bike should behave in a way that reflects how fast it seems in-game. Totally agree with you with the crashes though - if you can straightline into a corner at 200mph without braking, then ride off before the rest of the pack catch up it will be a bit of a shame.

Was it 100Mph or Kph? I'll have to watch again.

Was it Superbike 2000 where you had to run back to your bike and pick it up if you crashed. I liked that about the game as it made the player take it more seriously. If you havbe a crash the 'respawn' should at least wait until the bike and rider have come to a stop on the road.

Fair point, but I think for the game to be 'the real riding simulator' it does need to be accurate in terms of lowsiding/highsiding etc. The other aspect of those vids that struck me as odd was how quickly the bikes changed direction at 100 odd mph... it looked more like they were doing 30. 8O I'm pedantic though, and it does still look like a very nice game.

You have to remeber though that the crashes in GT 1-4 were hardly the most realistic, but I suppose its a driving game not crashing. Looking at thouse vids it did look pretty good, a bit like the EA sports Superbike 2000 games and they had the handling spot on. Ive read else where that you can high-side etc so im guessing they didnt have the realism on for thouse vids

Yeah, hopefully it will have a more realistic setting than those vids. One shows the rider going head first into a wall and it doesn't even register. :¦ Fingers crossed it will turn out to be the realistic bike racing sim everyone wants.

Lol the crashes finished too quickly :D. I wonder if there are realism settings, ie easier to fall of bike, ability to highside/lose the front wheel etc.

The vids were good, would have been better to see more footage of people who can play the game though :D

Also, I wish I could recover from a real crash on my bike that quickly.
